Finfin provides technology that displays information from brokerages you choose to connect and related research utilities. References to “research” on this site mean informational and educational software features for your own use. They do not mean that Finfin publishes “research reports” as defined under FINRA Rule 2241 or that Finfin acts as a research analyst.

Finfin helps you view accounts, orders, balances, and positions sourced from brokerages you connect; optionally receive status notices you configure (including notices related to expiration timing when data is available); and review trade history and profit and loss (P&L) for personal research.

Intended use is view-oriented research. Unless a feature explicitly states otherwise and you separately authorize it through that feature’s documented consent flow, Finfin does not place, modify, or cancel orders.

Market data, account figures, Greeks, marks, and P&L calculations may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, or subject to correction by your brokerage or data providers. Always confirm critical information with your brokerage of record before making decisions.

Any trading you do occurs with your brokerage under that firm’s customer agreement, disclosures, and fee schedule.

Brokerages, market-data vendors, and other third parties are independent of Finfin. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control. Outages, rate limits, or permission changes at a third party may interrupt features.

Your use of a brokerage connection is also subject to that brokerage’s privacy policy, API terms, and customer agreements.
